My husband and I came a year ago for our anniversary weekend and loved it! We wanted to bring our kids back to enjoy the experience as well. We all love it! The location is perfect for what we want- Secluded, but close enough for tourist activities. Last year my husband and I canoed down the Glover River, which is right behind the cabins! This year, the kids swam, and we enjoyed the paddle boats. We looked for cool rocks, and the kids played on the playground equipment provided to the cabins. The canoes, paddle boats, and playground/ outdoor game equipment included is a tremendous value. Very nice, quiet, peaceful place to enjoy!
My Wife and I were so pleased with our stay at the River Bend Resort - our cabin met all the expectations one would want for the perfect couple/family get away. The resort staff really thought out all the required needs to ensure that our cabin delivered the perfect experience. Enjoyed watching the fireflies at night - everything was wonderful inside and out of the cabin. We will be back!!
My wife and I had a Wonderful weekend at Rivers Bend Resort! The directions and check in procedures were perfect and our cabin was well equipped beautifully decorated. We ate our meals on the deck overlooking the Glover River where we canoed and fished. Made the drive over to Beavers Bend State Park to hike and shop but could not wait to get back to this is a beautiful secluded place to unwind and unplug. We will definitely be back!
The last that woke up as 1 am to give directions in was Very nice and help. The place was gorgeous but the cabins could Have been cleaner. But the customer service was top notch. Tanisha was a pleasure.
This is a great place to really get away and relax. It is pretty far out from Broken Bow/ Hochatown, so stock up before heading there. Our cabin had a fully stocked kitchen with oven, stove, microwave and any pots, pans and dishes you might need. Outside there is a grill that is both gas and charcoal. So while you can get to town, you really don't have to. The best part is that it is right on the Glover River. You can swim, fish, and there are kayaks, canoes and paddle boards provided. I enjoyed just sitting on the porch, looking and listening for birds(my hobby), and reading a good book. Note: there are several large dogs on the property which are very sweet and loveable, but everyone isn't a dog lover like me, so just know they are around. This really is a great little get away place, and we will definitely be back.
My husband and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and wanted a getaway far from the madness of the Dallas/Fort Worth area when I found this little gem of River's Bend Resort. I just happened upon it when looking for someplace new and secluded and WOW am I glad I did. Our cabin was even better than advertised and it was so very peaceful and a much needed break from the madness of big city living. It has all the amenities and is a great value. And they even have a little canine greeter named Lily who would drop by for hugs and pets every day. This is definitely at the top for future retreats for us. We will definitely be back! Thank you! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the second cabin (the romantic retreat). It was just the right size for two people, and secluded enough to feel like we were alone. I had a couple of questions during our stay, and we were always helped immediately with whatever we needed. We had everything we needed there and only needed to bring groceries with us. It was very clean, and we especially appreciated how well the hot water worked. The hot tub on the patio was wonderful. The best part was that we were left alone to enjoy our stay, unless we needed help. Thank you so much for an amazing time!
